ShopCoffee is two things on one 22-year-old exact-match .com. First, a set of plain-spoken coffee gear buying guides that say how each pick was made and what was not tested. Second, a small online store, opened in September 2026 at shop.shopcoffee.com, that carries only real brands the guides would send a reader to anyway. Every order ships directly from the brand that made the product; ShopCoffee runs no warehouse. Its own coffee, The Daily, is announced but not yet for sale.
"Buying coffee gear online turned into scrolling past four hundred
identical kettles with made-up brand names. So I wrote the guides I wished existed,
then opened a store that only carries what those guides would send you to anyway.
If I can't tell you who made it, I don't sell it."
— Founder, ShopCoffee (Colorado)
ShopCoffee makes no health, medical, or therapeutic claims about coffee, and we'd ask that coverage not attribute any to us. We publish a page on caffeine limits that quotes the FDA, ACOG and IARC and says nothing of our own about health. Coffee is a beverage. It does not prevent, treat, or cure any disease, and nothing we sell is offered on that basis.

"Most coffee in your kitchen was roasted before your last phone bill. Ours leaves the roaster within days of your order — and our standard is the roast date on the bag, not a 'best by.'"
"Single-origin means single-origin. No proprietary blends, no marketing wars over 'small batch,' no mystery on the bag. Ethiopia, Tanzania, Sumatra. Named honestly."
"A grinder is the highest-leverage purchase in coffee — bigger than the brewer, bigger than the beans. We publish gear guides that say so even when it means telling someone not to spend money with us."
"shopcoffee.com isn't a brand we invented. It's the search query people already type when they want to buy coffee online. We just built the right business behind it."
